State BJP Election Committee To Select Candidates For Upcoming Parliament Elections

Hyderabad, Feb 12 (Maxim News): Telangana BJP has started preparations for the Lok Sabha elections.  The Election Committee held a meeting at the BJP office on Monday under the leadership of State President and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy.

Along with Kishan Reddy, MP Dr. Laxman, senior leaders D. K. Aruna, Jitender Reddy, Muralidhara Rao, Etala Rajender, in-charge Arvind Menon and others were gathered in this meeting. They are working on the selection of candidates for the Parliament elections. The Election Committee will send three names from each seat to the president. The BJP election committee has already met once in Delhi. clarification has come on the sitting positions. Kishan Reddy from Secunderabad Parliament Constituency, Bandi Sanjay from Karimnagar, Dharmapuri Arvind from Nizamabad, Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from Chevella, Boora Narsaiah Goud from Bhuvanagiri are informed that the names are almost finalized. 

There is excitement about where Etala Rajender will contest from.  It is reported that he is interested in contesting for the Malkajgiri seat. However, the BJP leadership is suggesting that he should contest from Medak or Zaheerabad.

Chada Suresh Reddy, Koona Srisailam Goud, Pannala Harish Reddy, Malka Komaraiah, and Muralidhara Rao are hoping for Malkajgiri seat. 

On the other hand, D.K. Aruna, Jitender Reddy, and Shantikumar are contesting for the Mahbubnagar seat. There is a contest between the party’s top leaders for the NagarKurnool Lok Sabha seat. EV Ramesh, Galla Satyanarayana, Ranga Kiran, and Vasudev Rao are in the Khammam ticket race. The BJP has decided to encourage inclusion where there are no strong candidates. (Maxim News)
