After Heated Discussion: The Assembly Passed A Resolution Saying That No Projects Would Be Handed Over To KRMB

Hyderabad, Feb 12 (Maxim News): After a heated discussion between the ruling Congress and the main opposition BRS of former chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao, the Assembly passed the resolution saying that no projects will be handed over to Krishna River Management Board (KRMB).

Today, the Minister for Water and Drainage, Uttam Kumar Reddy moved a resolution in the Assembly that Krishna projects will not be handed over to KRMB. On this occasion, Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy gave a PowerPoint presentation on the projects. A heated discussion took place in the Assembly between the ruling party and the opposition in the background of the discussion of this resolution.

A war of words took place between the members of both parties during the event. Later, the opposition members said that they were supporting the resolution introduced by the state government.  With this, the Speaker announced that he approved this resolution. The Speaker then adjourned the Assembly to Tuesday. (Maxim News)
