CM Revanth Expressed Grief Over Jannat Hussain’s Demise
Hyderabad, Feb 23 (Maxim News): Chief Minister Revanth Reddy condoled the demise of retired senior IAS officer Jannat Hussain on Friday. He recalled the services rendered by Jannat Hussain in different capacities in the United Andhra Pradesh government, including serving as Collector of many districts.

During the former Chief Minister late Y.S Rajashekhara Reddy’s regime, Jannat Hussain was elevated as Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister and retired as Special Chief Secretary. He was also nominated as Chief Commissioner of the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
As the Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary, he played a significant role in implementing free power supply to agriculture soon after former Chief Minister Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy assumed office in 2004.
