RADIO MANUU Prepares to Hit the Airwaves

Hyderabad: In a significant stride towards community empowerment and knowledge dissemination, Maulana Azad National Urdu University will soon be launching a Community Radio at its Instructional Media Centre. The community radio aims for societal development through education and information dissemination.

According to Mr. Rizwan Ahamd, Director, IMC as part of the preparatory phase, residents residing within a radius of 10-15 kilometres of the University’s campus in Gachibowli, Hyderabad are invited to share their ideas,  expectations, issues for the Community Radio programming. Community members, Societies are encouraged to submit their ideas, specific issues, suggestions at email [email protected].

Prof. Syed Ainul Hasan, Vice Chancellor expressed his enthusiasm for this new endeavour. He stated that University has long been dedicated to serving the community through education and with the Community Radio, we are expanding our efforts to reach even more individuals and communities.

Mr. Rizwan Ahamd, Director, IMC, emphasised the importance of the Community Radio in fostering dialogue and collaboration within the local area. The power of communication brings positive change and through this radio platform we aim to empower our local communities with valuable information and resources, he remarked.
