This means that an average of more than 10 phones are monitored per day. The investigating offices have found that this operation which was carried out secretly at the center of the Special Intelligence Branch (SIB) was completed at the end of November. Due to this, it is revealed that SIB’s former OSD Prabhakar Rao’s team was only interested in benefiting BRS in the Assembly elections. It is known that the Legislative Assembly elections were held on November 30. As soon as the elections were over. it was found that the phone tapping also stopped.
It has been found that Prabhakar Rao’s team focused on matters such as keeping an eye on the movements of the opponents who contested against BRS candidates. Sensing the activities of their followers, controlling them from getting financial resources. It seems that the money belonging to the rival parties of BRS has been confiscated in many places. At the time of the election, money of crores of rupees was caught in the suburbs including Hyderabad.

As the investigation revealed that 1,300 phones were being monitored, the Hyderabad Police focused on the next issue. They engaged in the work of informing the victims and collecting their statements. Victims are reportedly being told about the damage done by illegally tapping phones. Even if the accused admits to illegal phone tapping, it is upto the investigating officers to put the consequences before the court. It seems that the focus is on this process as the testimony of the victims is the key. (Maxim News)
