Seats Alloted To 76,290 Students In First Phase Of DOST

Hyderabad June 6 (Maxim News): Degree Online Services Telangana (DOST) first phase seats were allotted to 76,290 students for admissions in government and private degree colleges in the state.

7,766 students got seats in Arts groups, 26,665 in Commerce groups, 15,301` in Life Science groups, 14,964 in Physical Sciences groups, 2502 in Data Science groups, 90 in D. Pharmacy groups and 7012 in other groups. A total of 1,04,784 students have registered in Phase-1.

There are 1,066 degree colleges across the state, out of which there are 4,49,449 seats. Of these, 1`35 are government degree colleges and 86 are residential degree colleges. Out of 3,89,049 seats, 2.05 lakh seats are filled. Four new courses have been made available this year. The sector skill courses introduced earlier have been expanded in many colleges. Classes will start from July 8 this year.  (Maxim News)
