In this connection, there was an argument between the victims and the revenue staff. The victims prevented the demolitions. The young woman made a fuss asking JCB to get off her. The situation turned tense when the JCB was attacked with stones. The attacker was arrested by the police. The victims are expressing their grievances that they bought the land for lakhs of rupees.

Recently, HYDRA has undertaken another sensational program. Preparations are being made to remove permanent shops encroaching on footpaths in Hyderabad city. It seems that HYDRA has taken this decision thinking that due to these encroachments, the traffic problem and the pedestrians will be left without protection. While the footpaths are being encroached upon, people are walking on the roads. Due to this, some people are facing accidents and traffic problems are also arising. Yesterday, AV Ranganath held a review meeting on traffic issues along with Additional Commissioner P. Vishwaprasad at the office of Additional Commissioner of Traffic. Ranganath said that this activity would be started by informing the illegals in advance.

Disaster Response Force teams have been designed to work with the traffic police to regulate traffic on congested routes. Meanwhile, a decision was taken to give special training to DRF personnel on traffic control. He said that the respective departments will take the responsibility of removing electricity transformers, telephone wires, and GHMC garbage bins on the footpaths.
