Hyderabad, Oct 30 (Maxim News): The state government has made key changes in the security arrangements at the Telangana Secretariat. TG SPF has been handed over from the Special Police Department. The state government issued an order to this effect on Wednesday.

The state government has become alarmed in the wake of agitation by battalion constables and their family members demanding implementation of a uniform police system.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s security has already been changed in the wake of intelligence alerts. Armed Reserve Police are providing security at the Chief Minister’s residence. Now the secretariat has transferred the responsibilities from the special police department to the TGSPF in the matter of security.

Meanwhile, in the past, the Secretariat was under the supervision of SPF. But after the construction of the new secretariat, the responsibility was given to the Special Police. Now, in the wake of the agitation of the battalion constables, the responsibility of security has been handed over to the SPF. (Maxim News)
