Hyderabad, July 12: EAGLE Force officials conducted a major anti drug operation in Hyderabad on Sunday and seized 41 kg of ganja allegedly being transported in a private travel bus from Odisha. Three people, including the driver, conductor, and helper, were arrested.

Officials said the accused used a private travel bus to smuggle ganja from Odisha to Hyderabad. According to the investigation, the trio agreed to transport the drugs in exchange for a commission.
The EAGLE Force intercepted the bus before the drugs could be delivered. During the operation, officials seized ganja worth approximately Rs 20.5 lakh.
The Baba Bholanath Travels bus used for the transportation was also seized. In addition, officials recovered four mobile phones from the arrested accused.

Investigators said a Hyderabad based receiver and another suspect remain absconding. Efforts are underway to trace and arrest them.
Officials stated that some drug trafficking networks are misusing private travel buses to transport narcotics. They added that further investigation is in progress to identify others linked to the smuggling network.
