Eknath Shinde Reigns As CM: RSS Favors Fadnavis

Mumbai/Hyderabad, Nov 26 (Maxim News): The excitement over the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra is over. Eknath Shinde resigned from the post of CM, and the Governor of Maharashtra asked Shinde to continue as the interim Chief Minister.

It seems that the former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will take the reins as Maharashtra CM. Fadnavis is likely to take oath as CM on December 2. On the other hand, Shinde gave a message to the party ranks through the X platform that no one should come to his residence and party office.

Meanwhile, the Governor of the state asked Shinde to continue as caretaker chief minister until the next chief minister is elected. (Maxim News)
