Task Force Apprehended Accused With Possession Of 2 Kgs Ganja

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (Maxim News): The sleuths of the Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone Team along with Banjara Hills Police on credible information Apprehended (01) Accused S Prem Kumar age 21 years, Occ Animation operator, R/0 Indira Nagar, Banjara Hills, native of Rathnampet village Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam, AP who were found in illegal possession of narcotic Substance i.e., Dry Ganja from him and also apprehended 02 Consumers. Seized 2 kgs of Dry Ganja, two-wheeler bike, packing covers, and mobile phones.

In a joint operation by the Commissioner’s Task Force, West Zone Hyderabad, led by Inspector E. Jangaiah, and the Banjara Hills Police, one individual was apprehended for the illegal possession and sale of dry ganja. The accused, identified as S. Prem Kumar, was caught attempting to sell the drug to consumers in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.

According to the investigation, Prem Kumar, whose income was insufficient to sustain his livelihood, came into contact with a person named Shankar from Narsipatnam, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Prem Kumar then purchased approximately 2 kilograms of ganja from Shankar, which he brought to Banjara Hills. He repacked the ganja into smaller packets and attempted to sell it to acquaintances for easy money.

Based on a credible tip-off, the Task Force and Banjara Hills Police arrested Prem Kumar along with two consumers who had purchased the Ganja from him. Further investigation revealed that Prem Kumar had a prior involvement in a criminal case (Maxim News)
