Sambhal Existed Before Islam Was Born: Yogi Adityanath 

Lucknow/Hyderabad, Mar 12 (Maxim News): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the town of Sambhal existed before the birth of Islam. He said that Sambhal is 5,000 years old, and religious scriptures say that the Hari Vishnu temple was destroyed in 1526.  He described Sambhal as a symbol of historical truth.  He said that he had publicly announced this many times.

Speaking to the media in Lucknow on Wednesday, he said that they are proud of Sanatan Dharma.  He expressed confidence that the whole world will one day embrace Sanatan Dharma.   

“I am a yogi.  I respect all sects and religions. But forcibly occupying one’s place of worship and destroying other faiths is unacceptable. There are 68 pilgrimage sites in Sambhal.  So far, only 18 sites have been identified. We conducted water immersion at the Shivaz temple in Sambhal after 56 years,” Yogi Adityanath said.

Yogi Adityanath has criticized the Congress party for criticizing the recent Mahakumbh in Prayagraj.  he said that it is their habit to oppose whatever good happens. He said that the first Kumbh Mela was held in 1954 when the Congress was in power both at the Centre and in the state. He said that more than 100 people lost their lives at that time. He said that this has been happening in every Kumbh Mela since then. He said that corruption and anarchy have taken place.  He said that this is not something that can be hidden.  (Maxim News)
