Hyderabad, July 21: Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer Madhav Rachayya Sulphule has assumed charge as the new Regional Passport Officer (RPO) and Head of Office in Hyderabad.
A 2014-batch IFS officer, Sulphule takes over the Regional Passport Office with extensive diplomatic and consular experience.
Before his appointment in Hyderabad, he served as First Secretary in the Political and Consular Wings at the Embassy of India in Paris, France, where he handled key diplomatic and consular responsibilities.
His appointment is expected to strengthen passport and consular services in the region by leveraging his experience in international diplomacy and public service.
