BLA Bomb Attack on Pakistan Army Convoy: 90 Soldiers Reported Killed
Internet/Hyderabad, March 16 (Maxim News): The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) has carried out a deadly bomb attack on a Pakistan Army convoy, claiming that 90 soldiers were killed. However, the Pakistan Army has officially stated that only 10 soldiers lost their lives, while 21 others sustained serious injuries.
Details of the Attack
The attack occurred when a military convoy was traveling from Quetta to Taftan. According to local media reports, the bombing took place near Noshki. Pakistani officials have also confirmed the incident.
BLA’s Statement
The Baloch Liberation Army has taken responsibility for the attack, stating that their Majeed Brigade, a unit known for carrying out suicide missions, launched a “Fidayeen” (suicide) attack on a convoy of eight military buses.
While the BLA insists that 90 Pakistani soldiers were killed, the Pakistan Army continues to downplay the casualties, maintaining that the death toll stands at 10 soldiers.
The attack marks yet another escalation in the Baloch insurgency, which has been targeting Pakistani military forces in Balochistan for years. (Maxim News)
