Serious action was taken against the petitioners as the order was taken in another bench while the petition was pending. There have been instances in the past where fines were imposed for misleading the court. But, imposing a fine of one crore rupees has now become a topic of discussion.

It is known that in April 2024, the High Court issued an order imposing a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on former Adibatla Chairperson K. Artika in a case of concealing facts and misleading the court. At that time, the High Court found that the court’s time was wasted and baseless allegations were made against the officials.
