114 Acre Land Grab Case: Former BRS MLA Appears Before Mokila Ps For Hearing

Hyderabad, Mar 28 (Maxim News): Former Armoor MLA Jeevan Reddy appeared for questioning at Mokila PS in Rangareddy. He appeared for questioning in the 114 acre land grabbing case in Mokila. It is known that a case was registered against Jeevan Reddy earlier on the complaint of the land owners.

Jeevan Reddy approached the Supreme Court seeking anticipatory bail and non-arrest. Jeevan Reddy appeared for questioning before the police at Mokila PS on march 28 after the Supreme Court ordered him to cooperate with the investigation.

It is known that a case has been registered against Jeevan Reddy and his family members of Mokila and Chevella police stations in connection with a land dispute in Tanguturu village of Shankarpally mandal of Rangareddy district and Erlapalli of Chevella mandal. The police registered the case based on a complaint filed by Sama Damodar Reddy of Chaitanya Resorts, alleging that former MLA Jeevan Reddy and his family members were threatening him by claiming that only 93 acres of the 170 acres were sold and the remaining land was theirs.

However, the High Court refused to issue interim orders in the petition filed by jeevan Reddy seeking a stay on the cases registered by the police. It rejected the petitioner’s request to issue a stay order on the investigation of the cases. With this, the Mokila Police served a notice to Jeevan Reddy, who appeared before it today.  (Maxim News)
