New Delhi, Sept. 1: Whatfix co founder and CEO Khadim Batti died after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest, the company said on Monday.
Whatfix confirmed Batti’s death in an official statement. The company described his passing as a major loss and requested privacy for his family.
Batti was a prominent figure in India’s SaaS and startup ecosystem. He co founded Whatfix with Vara Kumar Namburu in 2014.

Based in Bengaluru, Whatfix developed a digital adoption platform for enterprises. The platform helps employees use software and navigate digital tools more effectively.
Under Batti’s leadership, the company expanded into international markets. He also contributed to India’s growing SaaS and artificial intelligence communities.
Batti served on the governing council of SaaSBoomi. He was also among the founding members of AIBoomi, an AI focused product community.
SaaSBoomi CEO and founding volunteer Avinash Raghava expressed grief over Batti’s death. He described Batti as a respected founder, mentor and friend.
Batti began his entrepreneurial journey in 2010. Before Whatfix, he worked at Huawei Technologies India as Delivery Head for DPI and BI Solutions.
He later co founded SearchEnabler and served as its CEO. He then launched Whatfix with Namburu in 2014.
Batti had more than two decades of experience in software development, product innovation and business leadership.
He held a Master’s degree in Information Technology from IIIT Bangalore. He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bombay.
