 AI innovation focuses on solving challenges specific to India and the Global South.

The conference will bring together about 2000 participants from across the AI spectrum: developers, architects, startups, tech leaders and policy makers. Day one focuses on building solutions through Masterclasses from senior AI leaders and workshops on the latest AI tools and technologies. Day two is focused on knowledge from industry leaders and policy makers.

The conference will be inaugurated by D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for IT, Electronics & Communications, Government of Telangana, and key government officials, including Jayesh Ranjan IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Department of ITE&C.

Prof. PJ Narayanan, Director IIIT Hyderabad, said, “AI is bringing an unusual situation where AI is still actively being worked on in research groups across the world. Industry is almost in parallel adopting much of the same technologies. Significantly bridging the time and space gap between research and industry. This AI Days conference will bring together thought leaders from both these worlds”.

The 2-day conference will include Round Tables that will have industry CXOs, policymakers, researchers, and thought leaders deliberating on the state of the art of research, the solution possibilities and challenges to the fore. Themes include India’s Own LLMs, Building Low-Cost AI, Community sourcing AI, and Data Privacy & Policy. The conference will also see the culmination of the two-month AI hack Days program, with 25+ organisations and around 250 teams at the finale Spark Camp.
