Hyderabad Traffic DCP Reviews Chandrayangutta Zone During Annual Inspection

Hyderabad, July 29: Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic III) Rahul Hegde B.K., IPS, on Tuesday conducted the annual inspection of the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Office in the Chandrayangutta Traffic Zone and reviewed traffic management, enforcement and monsoon preparedness.

During the inspection, the DCP assessed operational readiness and issued directions to the ACP and Station House Officers (SHOs) to strengthen enforcement and ensure smooth traffic movement across the zone.

Rahul Hegde directed officials to intensify enforcement drives, with special emphasis on Day Drunk and Drive (DD) checks and the ROPE initiative for the removal of obstructive parking and encroachments.

He instructed traffic personnel to take strict action against illegal encroachments on roads and footpaths and remove unauthorized parking to facilitate the safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians.

The DCP also stressed the need for proactive coordination during the monsoon to prevent waterlogging and effectively manage traffic congestion.

To enhance public safety, he directed officials to strengthen Night Road Safety Squads while ensuring discipline and professional conduct among traffic personnel.

The inspection was attended by Additional DCP Traffic III T. Ram Das Teja, ACP Traffic Chandrayangutta Zone V. Chandra Kumar, and SHOs of Malakpet, Saidabad, Santoshnagar and Chandrayangutta Traffic Police Stations.
