Delhi/Hyderabad, May 3 (Maxim News): The Pahalgam terror attack has completely damaged relations between India and Pakistan. In this context, India is taking tough decisions. It is hitting Islamabad (Pakistan) hard. It is cutting off all relations with its neighbour country.
It is known that it has already suspended several agreements. Similarly, it is imposing several tough sanctions on Pakistan.
The central government has recently taken a decision to suspend the exchange of all types of mail and parcel services coming from Pakistan. It has imposed restrictions on mail and parcels coming by air and surface routes. The Union Ministry of Communications issued an order to this effect on Saturday. It is known that earlier it had imposed a ban on all types of imports coming from Pakistan.
India has banned Pakistani ships from entering Indian waters and ports. The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways issued an order to this effect on Saturday. ‘Ships flying the Pakistani flag will not be allowed to enter any port in India. Similarly, Indian ships will not visit any port in Pakistan, the order said.
The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways said that the decision was taken in the context of national security concerns. “This step has been taken to further advance India’s shipping objectives in the interests of security of Indian assets, freight transport and connectivity infrastructure,” the order said. Similarly, it has advised its ships not to go towards Pakistani waters and ports. (Maxim News)
