Huge Quantity Of Drugs Seized In Hyderabad

Hyderabad, May 12 (Maxim News) A huge drug racket has once again come to light in Hyderabad. Despite the strict action taken by the Telangana Police against drugs, the accused continue to smuggle them through different routes.

A huge quantity of drugs was recently seized in Uppal. Excise Joint Commissioner Qureshi revealed the details to the media today (Monday). Excise Joint Commissioner Qureshi said that 106 kg of ganja was seized in Uppal. He said that the accused had stored the ganja in a godown in the HCL area of Uppal.

Excise Joint Commissioner Qureshi said that the ganja was seized on the basis of solid information and two accused were arrested. He said that the accused had packed 106 kg of ganga in 56 packets.

He said that the value of seized ganja is around Rs. 53 lakhs. He said that two kg of ganja was filled in each packet. He said that Katla Vivek Reddy and Madhu Kiran have been arrested in this case. Excise Joint Commissioner Qureshi said that Vivek Reddy worked as an assistant professor in private engineering colleges. (Maxim News)
