Riyadh/Internet/Hyderabad, June 22 (Maxim News): An Air India flight from Birmingham to Delhi received a bomb threat call. The flight was diverted to Riyadh. After landing at Riyadh airport, the passengers were safely evacuated. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief when the airport security staff checked and determined that there was no bomb.
Air Indiaflight A1-114 departed Birmingham for Delhi at 8.26 pm on Saturday. Authorities were alerted after receiving a call about a bomb threat on board. The plane was diverted to Riyadh. Passengers were safely evacuated as soon as the plane landed at Riyadh airport.
Security personnel checked the plane for a bomb. But everyone was relieved when there was no bomb on board. The passengers were accommodated in a hotel in riyadh. More details regarding the incident are yet to be known. The plane is currently at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. (Maxim News)
