New Delhi, July 15 (Maxim News): Prime Minister Narendra Modi set an inspiring tone as he addressed the media ahead of the Monsoon Session 2025 at Parliament, calling it a “celebration of national victories” and a proud moment for every Indian.
In a wide-ranging address, PM Modi touched upon India’s military achievements, economic progress, social welfare reforms, and technological milestones, framing the session as a reflection of unity, development, and pride for 140 crore citizens.

Referring to Operation Sindoor, PM Modi proudly shared that Indian forces achieved 100% success in eliminating high-value terrorist targets within just 22 minutes. He emphasized that this operation reflects the growing prowess of India’s indigenous defence capabilities, which are now garnering global attention
“The world has seen India’s military strength. Operation Sindoor proves our readiness and determination,” the PM said.
He urged Parliament to unite in honouring the armed forces, believing such unity would boost confidence in defence manufacturing, create youth employment, and drive innovation in the sector.

PM Modi highlighted the steady decline of Naxalism and Maoism, stressing that districts once under violent threat are now emerging as zones of peace and development
“The Constitution now triumphs over bombs and guns,” he remarked. “Red corridors are transforming into Green Growth Zones.”
This, he said, showcases the success of India’s internal security strategy and the nation’s progress toward long-term peace.
India’s Economic Rise: From Fragile Five to Global Top Three
PM Modi pointed to India’s transformation since 2014, noting that the country has gone from being in the Fragile Five to soon becoming the world’s third-largest economy.
- 25 crore people have moved out of poverty.
- Inflation is now around 2%, down from double digits.
- Growth is being achieved with stability and inclusivity.
Digital India: A Global FinTech Leader
India’s digital revolution was another focus. The Prime Minister emphasized the global success of UPI (Unified Payments Interface), which is now being adopted by multiple countries
“UPI has become a trusted global FinTech brand. India leads the world in real-time digital transactions,” he noted.
Social and Health Milestones Recognized Globally
PM Modi highlighted praise from global institutions:
- ILO reported that 90 crore Indians are now under social security cover.
- WHO declared India trachoma-free, a major public health milestone.
Unity Against Terror: Pahalgam Massacre Sparks Global Action
Recalling the Pahalgam massacre, PM Modi commended the united stand of Indian political parties in exposing Pakistan’s role in terrorism on global platforms.
“The international community now hears India’s voice against terrorism clearly, thanks to a unified diplomatic effort,” he said.
India in Space: The Tricolour at the ISS
Calling it a “historic moment,” PM Modi celebrated the unfurling of the Indian flag at the International Space Station (ISS), describing it as a source of national pride and scientific enthusiasm.

Emphasizing the symbolism of the monsoon — renewal and growth — PM Modi said the tripling of water reservoir levels this year will greatly benefit agriculture and the rural economy.
He urged all Members of Parliament to rise above political differences and focus on development, innovation, and national interest during this session. Several new bills aimed at empowering citizens and boosting growth are set to be tabled.
