Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Meets Old City Gangs, Reviews Their Behaviour
Hyderabad City Police | Hyderabad, August 20 (Maxim News): In a significant step to maintain peace in the Old City, Hyderabad City Police Commissioner C.V. Anand held a special meeting with 11 gangs and their members here.
The meeting aimed to review their activities and ensure law and order in the region.
What came as a surprise to many was the change in attitude shown by these groups. During the interaction, several gang members presented stamped court papers, declaring mutual compromises among themselves.

These documents, signed in the presence of community elders, stated their commitment to avoid violence and crimes such as murders in the future.
Commissioner Anand welcomed this positive development but issued a stern warning. He told them to stick to their promises and maintain peace at all times. “Keep it like this forever,” he cautioned, emphasizing that the police will not tolerate any return to unlawful activities.
Officials said such meetings are part of an ongoing effort to curb gang-related violence in the Old City and promote harmony through dialogue and strict enforcement of the law.
