‘Numaish’ from Jan. 1, entry ticket raised to Rs. 25

Hyderabad: The historical 77th All India Industrial Exhibition will begin from January 1. For the first time Municipal Administration and IT Minister Taraka Rama Rao will inaugurate the exhibition.
Keeping in view the demonetisation exercise, extra ATMs and mobile ATMs will be set up. Digital payment system will be introduced at ticket counter where card swiping machines will also be made available. Finance minister Etala Rajendra said during a scribes meet.
Mr. Rajendra revealed that Numaish will remain open from January 1 to February 15. Every possible measure will be taken to ensure cashless transactions. He feared that demonetisation will also have effect on Numaish. Nearly 12500 stalls will be set up in the sprawling 23 acre ground.
The cheapest forms of entertainment in the city will now cost a little more. Visitors will now have to shell out an extra 5 bucks to relish their favourite ‘Numaish’. In view of the service tax, the Exhibition Society has decided to raise the entry fee from Rs. 20 to Rs. 25.
