Siraat Expo 2025 in Malakpet to Highlight ‘Seerat-un-Nabi – Reflection of Quran’

Hyderabad, Sept 3 (Maxim News): Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Malakpet, will organize the sixth consecutive Seerat Expo to strengthen the connection of students and youth with the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and guide their talents in a constructive way.

The event, themed “Seerat-un-Nabi – Reflection of Quran”, will be held on Friday, September 5, at Grand Imperial Function Palace, from 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM.

The inaugural ceremony will have prominent guests including Mohammed Azharuddin, Ameer-e-Halqa, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Telangana, Ahmed bin Abdullah Balala, MLA Malakpet, and Dr. Mohammed Mubashir Ahmed, Nazim-e-Shehar, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Greater Hyderabad. This information was shared by Mohammed Mujeeb Al-Ali, Ameer-e-Maqami, Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Malakpet, during a press meet at Darul Mutala Islamic Center, Saidabad.

He said the preparations for the expo have been underway for the past one month. During this period, members of the Jamaat engaged with 32 schools to organize competitions for students from Class 1 to 10 in three categories: Seerat Quiz, Essay Writing, and Coloring Contest. Over 6,000 students participated, and 600 winners will receive first and second prizes at the expo. All participants will also receive a certificate of participation.

Explaining the theme, he said: “Whatever Allah revealed in the Quran, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) practically demonstrated it, proving that the Quran is not just theoretical but a practical guide for life.”

Convener Syed Mohammed Abdul Qadir Nasir detailed the arrangements, stating that the expo will include educational and cultural displays, a documentary screening, on-the-spot quizzes with prizes, a book stall, and a food court. He urged people to visit the expo with their families anytime between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM. A 50% discount will be offered on all books about the Prophet’s life at the book stall on the expo day.

The press meet was attended by Zia-ur-Rahman Siddiqui, Assistant Ameer-e-Maqami, Junaid-ur-Rahman Qadri, Secretary (Organization), Dr. Raza Ahmed Khan, Secretary (Education), Mohammed Abdul Wadood, local Shura member, and others. (Maxim News)
