Hyderabad/Internet, Sept 7 (Maxim News): Nagarjuna Sagar Reservoir has become full. With this, the project’s crust gates have been opened once again. 8 gates have been lifted and water is being released downstream.
While the inflow to Nagarjuna Sagar is 1,33,824 cusecs, the same amount is being released as outflow. 500 cusecs are being released to the right canal, 8,454 cusecs to the left canal, and 3,248 cusecs to the power house. The full water level of the reservoir was 590 feet, currently it has reached 589.70 feet. The full water storage capacity was 312.04 TMC, currently it has been recorded as 311.14 TMC. (Maxim News)
