The Chief Minister, along with Telangana ministers and Congress leaders, participated in the demonstration organised under the INDIA alliance banner. He asked who would take responsibility for addressing concerns over voter deletions and questioned why the President of India and the Chief Justice of India had not intervened on the issue.

Revanth Reddy alleged that the process risked dividing citizens into groups, with some retaining voting rights while others could lose them. He warned that losing the right to vote could also affect people’s access to government welfare schemes.

The Chief Minister’s remarks come amid opposition criticism of voter-roll revision exercises and demands for greater transparency in electoral administration. (Maxim News).
