Strengthening The Village System Through GPO

Hyderabad, Sept 10 (Maxim News): *Under the leadership of TVRO and GPO Chairman Golkonda Satish, the problems of the former VROs and current village administration officers of the state were brought to the attention of Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Minister of Revenue and  Chief Commissioner of Land Revenue Lokesh Kumar , in his chamber at Secretariat.*

 Expressed thanks to the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and the State Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy who are working towards the development of the state by rebuilding the village revenue system that was unwittingly abolished by the previous TRS government, strengthening the rural system, and making that system accessible to the farmers and the people.*

*Today, the JAC team met the Minister in the Secretariat’s chamber and honored him on behalf of the state VROs and village administration officers.*

*It was explained that due to the TRS government’s policy in the state, prestigious government lands were alienated and came into the possession of land grabbers.*

*It was explained that by restructuring the new village revenue system, the former VROs and current village administration officials working in that system will work with the aim of bringing alienated lands in the village under government control.*

*It was announced that the government treasury and public property would not be embezzled, the activities of sand mafias would be curbed, and all government land accounts, including yard land, would be handed over to the government.*

*They informed that they will carry out their duties in a way that will benefit the government by preventing illegal sand transportation in rural areas, and that they will take state government schemes to the doorsteps, select eligible beneficiaries and provide them with government benefits.*

*The Chief Minister addressed the revenue employees in a speech at Hitex and said that the employees’ self-respect was upheld. The Chief Minister said that the village revenue system, which was a barrier to corruption, was destroyed like a mouse entering a house and burning down the entire house. Former Chief Minister Chandrashekhar Rao, who abolished the system, asked why he did not dissolve the TRS party due to the corruption in the Kaleshwaram project. The employees rejoiced that the speech raised the employees’ self-respect*

*It was informed that people have faced many difficulties due to the lack of responsible employees in the village system for the past five years, and that the new village administration officers who have come will expedite the processing of the certificates required by the people – caste, income, residence, death, birth, old age, and disability pension applications – and provide easy services, especially the solution to unsolicited and unpopular issues.*

*It was explained that we will be available to the villagers in times of disaster and provide services to them to prevent unexpected incidents.*

*A request has been made to take steps to provide seniority and promotions to former VROs who lost their service security during the previous government’s rule.*

*It was explained that if an employee working in the village revenue system performs duties in a mandal other than his own, there will be 100% chances of providing better services to the people, rulers and the government. It was requested to prepare proper procedures and issue instructions to the district collectors.*

*As per the High Court orders, the ongoing service of VROs in the Revenue Department and other issues have been brought to the attention of the Minister to be resolved.*

*In cases where land grabbers, brokers, and sand mafia groups create obstacles in the performance of the duties of GPOs, it has been requested that the government stand by them and, if necessary, form a protection force for land protection and control of illegal sand transportation.*

*The ministers responded and promised to convene a meeting soon to resolve all the issues and take steps to discuss and resolve all the issues.*
