Revanth Sarkar Orders Transfer of IAS Officers, Key Postings Announced

Revanth Sarkar | Hyderabad, Sept. 16 (Maxim News): The Telangana government led by CM Revanth Reddy has issued transfer and posting orders for IAS officers, making key administrative changes in the state.

The notification includes fresh appointments and additional responsibilities under Full Additional Charge (FAC) arrangements.

Revanth Sarkar | Sarfaraz Ahmad to Head Hyderabad Metro Rail in FAC

Sarfaraz Ahmad, IAS (2009), currently serving as Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA), has been placed in Full Additional Charge of the post of Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited. This appointment relieves N.V.S. Reddy, IRAS (Retd.), from the position.

In another change, Ms. Shruti Ojha, IAS (2013), who has returned from study leave, has been posted as Director, Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens Department (WCD&SC). She replaces Smt. Srijana G., IAS (2013), who was holding the post as FAC.

Krishna Aditya, Kota Sreevatsa Among Officers Reassigned

Krishna Aditya S., IAS (2014), currently Director of Intermediate Education, has been given Full Additional Charge as Secretary, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TGSWREIS). He relieves Ms. K. Seetha Lakshmi, IAS (2018), from the FAC arrangement.

Kota Sreevatsa, IAS (2017), serving as Joint Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, has been reassigned as Joint Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA (General).

He has also been placed in FAC of the post of Secretary, HMDA. This change comes in place of R. Upender Reddy, who has been transferred.

The reshuffle reflects the state government’s administrative adjustments in key urban development, education, and welfare portfolios.

These postings are expected to streamline governance and strengthen leadership in crucial departments.
