According to the official memorandum issued by the Hyderabad Police, Inspectors and Sub-Inspectors of the Cyber Crime Police Station (CCPS) are required to identify accused persons, maintain detailed records of their activities, and ensure continuous monitoring. The directive also emphasizes that history sheets should be opened even for suspects not yet convicted, in line with the provisions of the Telangana State Police Manual (TSPM) and Section 111 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

The instructions come after a series of circulars and legal provisions from the Director General of Police, Telangana State, and the Telangana State Government Cyber Security Bureau (TGSCB).
