Telangana Hajis’ Leftover Baggage Returned Safely

Telangana Hajis’ Leftover Baggage | Hyderabad, Sept. 26 (Maxim News): In a relief for Telangana Haj pilgrims, the leftover baggage of 43 Hajis from Haj 2025 has been returned safely after consistent efforts by the Telangana State Haj Committee and Indian officials in Saudi Arabia.

Chairman Syed Ghulam Afzal Biabani, also known as Khusro Pasha, personally pursued the matter with the Consul General of India in Saudi Arabia, the Union Minister of Minority Affairs, and Saudi authorities.

His intervention ensured that the luggage, which was left behind due to weight restrictions imposed by Saudi Airlines, was finally traced and returned.

According to officials, the Haj Mission in Jeddah coordinated with the Haj Committee of India in Mumbai to recover the bags. The bags were received in Mumbai, Haj Committee, TG Hajj committee staff identified those belonging to Telangana pilgrims. The baggage was then transported to Hyderabad through cargo services.

The Telangana State Haj Committee has assured that the luggage will soon be handed back to the respective Hajis. This development has brought relief to the pilgrims who had been anxious about their belongings since their return from Haj.

Sources confirmed that the matter gained momentum after Khusro Pasha took it up directly with the concerned authorities.

His continuous follow-up with the Indian Consulate in Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Minority Affairs ensured that the issue was resolved without further delay.

The safe return of baggage is being seen as a positive outcome of proactive coordination between the Telangana Haj Committee, the Haj Mission in Jeddah, and Saudi officials. (Maxim News)
