Licensed Weapons Should Be Surrendered Amid Local Body Elections: CP Sai Chaitanya
Nizamabad/Hyderabad, Oct 8 (Maxim News): In the wake of the local body elections, CP Sai Chaitanya on Tuesday issued a statement asking those who have licensed weapons to surrender them to local police stations by the 9th of this month.
He said that no one is allowed to possess revolvers or guns while the code is in force. He warned that action will be taken against anyone violating the rules.
CP Sai Chaitanya conducted inspections in the city on Monday midnight. He visited the railway station, bus stand, Gandhi Chowk, Nehru Chowk, Shivaji Nagar, Kanteshwar, Devi Road, flyover bridge and other areas.
