Former MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, reportedly upset at being denied the party ticket, made striking remarks expressing his displeasure.

In a recent media interview, Yadav stated that he would soon disclose the names of those who prevented him from securing the Jubilee Hills ticket.

He questioned the Telangana Congress leadership, asking whether he was considered unsuitable to contest the byelection.

Yadav remarked that some senior leaders seem to have forgotten those who stood by the party during its toughest times and voiced hurt over not being consulted in the candidate selection process.

He further questioned why the issue of local versus non-local had arisen only now in the context of Jubilee Hills, recalling that such objections were not raised when he earlier contested from Kamareddy.
