Kavitha To Tour Telangana districts, posters without KCR photo

Hyderabad, Oct 14 (Maxim News): Kalvakuntla Kavitha, President of Telangana Jagruti, has announced a statewide Yatra across Telangana, marking a sharp and symbolic shift in her outreach strategy. She has decided to conduct the Yatra without the photo of former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, who is also her father.

Instead, the posters will feature Professor Jayashankar. The Yatra aims to foreground people’s welfare and the development of BCs as the main agenda. The Yatra is planned to start in the last week of October. It will continue across all districts in Telangana.

Meanwhile, Kavitha has been meeting Telangana intellectuals and educated sections in a series of interactions. Therefore, the Yatra appears designed to build wider engagement and collect feedback at the grassroots level. Instructions have been issued to the Telangana Jagruti ranks to design Yatra posters with the photo of Professor Jayashankar.

However, the decision to exclude KCR’s photo marks a notable departure in messaging. It also places ideological icons and policy themes at the center of the campaign. Then, the organization will align its on-ground mobilization with this visual strategy.

According to the plan, the Yatra poster will be released tomorrow, Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said she will work with the welfare of the people of Telangana and the development of BCs as the main agenda.

She also stated she will expose the Congress party’s “frauds regarding the rights of BCs.” The focus on BC issues will frame both her mobilization and her criticisms.

In recent days, Kavitha has intensified her outreach. She has met intellectuals and educated communities to discuss priorities for the Yatra. Also, the district-spanning design signals sustained, continuous engagement.

Later, the roll-out of posters and schedules will set the tempo for the final phase of preparations. (Maxim News)
