Mancherial/Hyderabad, Oct 26 (Maxim News): A 21-year-old graduate student died by suicide after consuming pesticide when his parents reportedly refused to give him money for a trip at Gudirevu village in Dandepalli mandal on Sunday.
Police said the youth, identified as Chitla Anwesh, had earlier attempted suicide a fortnight ago and was immediately shifted to a hospital. He succumbed while undergoing treatment on Sunday morning.
Anwesh, who had completed his degree, was said to be unemployed for some time. Police did not reveal the amount he had sought from his parents.
His father, Rajireddy, lodged a complaint with the police. A case has been registered and investigation is underway. (Maxim News)
