The decision underscores the Centre’s focus on upgrading national highway infrastructure to meet increasing traffic demand.

In Telangana, the responsibility for land acquisition has been delegated to Revenue Divisional Officers (RDOs) across multiple districts. The acquisition will cover nine villages in Choutuppal mandal of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district, five in Chitya of Nalgonda district, five in Narketpally, four in Kattangur, two in Nakrekal, four in Kethepalli, four in Suryapet mandal of Suryapet district, six in Chivvemla, four in Kodad mandal, and five in Munagala mandal.
