43 Telangana Candidates Qualify For UPSC Interviews

Hyderabad, Nov. 12 (Maxim News)  The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the results of the Civil Services Main Examination on Wednesday.

A total of 2,736 candidates have qualified for the personality test (interview) stage, according to the official notification released by the commission. The main exams were held nationwide from August 22 to 31 this year.

UPSC has uploaded the list of selected candidates on its official website. The shortlisted candidates will soon receive details about interview dates and venue allocations.

Among those qualified, 43 candidates are from Telangana, showcasing the state’s strong performance in the national examination.

The state government noted that all these candidates were beneficiaries of the Rajiv Gandhi Civil Services Coaching Scheme, which provides training and financial support for aspirants from various backgrounds.

Officials said the scheme played a key role in helping aspirants prepare effectively for the examination. The Telangana government plans to continue expanding support programs to increase representation in top administrative services.

UPSC conducts the Civil Services Examination annually to recruit officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS), among others. The final results will be declared after completion of the interview process in early 2026. (Maxim News)
