Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. He emphasized that prosperity in the region was directly linked to infrastructure and urban connectivity. Naidu recalled that the decision to build an airport “right next to the city” and launch the Outer Ring Road project was made with foresight. According to him, these projects transformed the capital’s economic landscape, creating opportunities and wealth for local residents. He said the Outer Ring Road catalysed real estate growth and commercial activity around Old City, which improved living standards among Muslim families.

The Chief Minister also highlighted how his administration worked to promote Hyderabad’s identity globally. He said he personally introduced Hyderabad’s pearls to foreign delegates and dignitaries. Naidu claimed that tourists visiting Hyderabad “always go to the Old City for shopping,” making it a vital part of the city’s economic and cultural fabric. He mentioned that his government helped make Hyderabad biryani a global brand, which benefited small traders and traditional markets around Charminar.

Naidu further pointed to his efforts in heritage revival, citing the transformation of the historic Falaknuma Palace into a luxury hotel. He said his approach sought to preserve the Nizam-era legacy while creating new tourism revenue and employment. “Conserving culture and creating premium hospitality could go together,” he argued, adding that brand-building and development had brought global recognition to Hyderabad.

Throughout his remarks, Naidu reiterated that the combination of infrastructure development, global investment, and cultural preservation drove prosperity in the Old City. According to him, these efforts collectively elevated the economic and social status of local Muslim communities, aligning tradition with modern growth.
