“If Congress does not stop its goondaism, the people will teach it a lesson,” Rama Rao declared. He expressed outrage that within 24 hours of the Jubilee Hills results, the ruling party had resorted to physical attacks on political opponents. “I condemn the assault on our party worker. Within 24 hours of the Jubilee Hills election results, Congress is resorting to goondaism,” he said.

Rama Rao also pointed out that during the previous decade-long rule of the BRS, the party never engaged in violence against Congress supporters, even after multiple by-election wins. He asserted that the people of Telangana are now witnessing what he called the “rowdyism” of the Congress Party. Holding Congress responsible for the recent incident, KTR said that BRS will defend its workers by all possible means. He further alleged that Congress achieved its win in Jubilee Hills through “bogus votes, goonda tactics, and distribution of money.”

Reacting to Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s comment that he must shed arrogance, KTR responded sharply. “The people are observing whose arrogance it is. The Congress Party took out a victory rally yesterday after the results were announced. We have won numerous elections; if winning alone makes them this intoxicated, imagine how many elections we have won in the past,” he remarked.

Rama Rao also announced that he will convene a meeting with BRS leaders and workers from Jubilee Hills on Tuesday. The session will discuss political developments and future strategies amid rising post-poll tensions.
