According to available details, the TTD guest house project gained momentum after the alliance government came to power. During this period, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pavan Kalyan visited the Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy temple on June 29. He performed special poojas, as Kondagattu Anjaneyaswamy is known to be his favourite god. During the visit, temple authorities and priests informed him about the difficulties faced by devotees due to the lack of proper guest house facilities at the shrine.

They submitted a representation requesting the construction of a 100 room capacity guest house and a 2000 seating capacity hall through TTD. Pavan Kalyan reportedly responded positively to the request. Later, temple priests and local MLA Medipally Satyam also brought the issue to the notice of the AP Deputy Chief Minister on several occasions. Therefore, the demand for improved infrastructure at the shrine continued to receive attention.
