According to the details available, the fire broke out at a footwear unit located in Osmanbagh, Kamatipura, at around 11 pm. Soon after the incident came to light, fire department officials received an alert. Therefore, fire tenders from Chandulal Baradari rushed to the spot without delay. Firefighters then began efforts to contain the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further.

Meanwhile, firefighters successfully doused the fire after reaching the location. Their swift response helped limit damage to the unit and surrounding area. Officials later indicated that a short circuit in the electricity supply cables on the road is suspected to be the reason behind the blaze. However, authorities have not confirmed the exact cause so far.

This incident follows another recent fire accident reported in the Old City of Hyderabad. Earlier, a fire broke out in a godown near RK Tower in Bahadurpura. That incident took place on October 20 and was reported to be the result of sparks from firecrackers. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in that case either.

Also, officials noted that both incidents ended without any loss of life, offering some relief amid rising concerns over repeated fire accidents in densely populated areas of the Old City. Residents, meanwhile, remain cautious as authorities continue to assess fire safety conditions in commercial and residential localities.
