BRS Has Insulted Me Terribly: Kavitha Breaks Down In Tears In The Council

Hyderabad, Jan 5 (Maxim News): MLC Kavitha said that after the formation of Telangana as a separate state, Bathukamma was organized under the auspices of Jagruti in 2014.  After that, restrictions started on her.  She said that she was saying these words with pain and anguish at how a person’s freedom can be taken away.  She was emotional and tearful while speaking in the Legislative Council.

“I worked wholeheartedly in BRS, no matter what responsibility I was given.  If I questioned it in the party, they took sides against me.  If there is no internal democracy there, how will it be in the state?  The party has insulted me terribly.  They did not stand by me when I was fighting the ED and CBI.  The BJP put me in jail with a side against KCR.

I questioned the corruption in the party and the government.  Corruption was committed in all the structures, from the martyrs’ stupa to the collectorates.  The collectorate in Siddipet was washed away in a single rain.  I demanded in the party that pensions be given to Telangana activists.  BRS never recognized the martyrs.  I did not care about water, funds or appointments.

“I have asked many times to open the Bodhan Sugar Factory.  It is a shame for me that the industry could not be opened.  I asked KCR many things that I had the courage to ask.  Not a single senior leader in the party spoke on the allegations against him in the Kaleshwaram case.  That is why I held a press meet and spoke strongly.  I named the corrupt people,” said Kavitha.  (Maxim News)
