Traffic moved at a crawl as vehicles lined up one behind another, especially near Hayathnagar, Pant Colony, and Bhagyalatha areas. Road narrowing at multiple stretches disrupted the smooth flow of vehicles. As a result, heavy vehicles and RTC buses remained stuck in traffic for hours.
At Hayathnagar junction, vehicles queued up for several kilometres. Consequently, students and office goers struggled to reach their destinations on time.
Locals also reported that ambulances faced difficulty navigating through the congestion, raising concerns over emergency response delays.

Meanwhile, traffic police rushed to the affected stretches and began clearance operations. Officers diverted vehicles at key junctions to ease pressure on the Hyderabad Vijayawada NH 65.
However, commuters continued to experience slow movement as construction activities remained underway. (Maxim News)
