Hyderabad, Jan. 17 (Maxim News) : Naperville City Councilman Ashfaq Syed, the first Indian American elected to the Naperville City Council in Illinois, visited Osmania University on Saturday and held discussions on strengthening global academic ties between India and the United States. The visit marked a symbolic homecoming, as Ashfaq Syed is a native of Hyderabad.
Councilman Syed paid a courtesy call on Prof. Kumar Molugaram, Honorable Vice Chancellor of Osmania University. The meeting focused on the growing role of universities in national development and global collaboration.
