Humiliation In The TN Assembly: Governor Walks Out
Chennai/Hyderabad, Jan 20 (Maxim News) A shocking incident took place in the Tamil Nadu Assembly. The walkout of the state Governor RN Ravi from the Assembly has created a stir.
Ravi said that he was disappointed. He alleged that the national anthem was not given due respect. It is reported that Speaker M Appavu asked the Governor to leave after only delivering a speech in the Assembly.
Governor Ravi expressed his impatience, saying that it was unfortunate that his speech was interrupted.

RN Ravi alleged that the national anthem was not given due respect. The Speaker said that only MLAs are allowed to express their opinions in the House and others have no chance.
On the other hand, Ravi complained that his mic was switched off and he was insulted. He said that he could not even read his speech completely. He said that there were mistakes in it too.
Lok Bhavan also revealed in a statement that the Governor’s microphone was repeatedly turned off. It alleged that the government’s speech contained many mistakes and irrelevant details.
It said that the claim that the state had attracted investments worth Rs 12 lakh crore was not true. It criticized that attacks on Dalits and incidents of sexual harassment against Dalit women have increased but have not been mentioned.(Maxim News)
