Medaram Jatara Helicopter Services Begin for Devotees

Medaram Jatara Helicopter | Hyderabad, Jan. 22 (Maxim News): The Telangana government has introduced helicopter services for devotees visiting the Medaram Jatara, offering aerial joy rides and faster travel options from Thursday.

The Telangana Tourism Department launched the Medaram Jatara helicopter services from a helipad set up at Padigapur.

Devotees can take joy rides lasting six to seven minutes, providing an aerial view of the Medaram Jatara. The charge for the joy ride is fixed at Rs 4,800 per person. Medaram Jatara helicopter services operational till January 31

Officials said round trip helicopter travel from Hanamkonda to Medaram is also available. The fare for the Hanamkonda Medaram round trip has been fixed at Rs 35,999 per passenger.

In addition, helicopter services will operate from the Tadwai mandal Elubaka area. These flights will allow devotees to view the Medaram surroundings from the air.

The Medaram Jatara helicopter services will operate daily from 8 am to 5.20 pm until January 31. Tourism officials said the initiative is aimed at improving devotee convenience and managing heavy pilgrim inflow during the festival.
