FTCCI Real Estate Summit Sets Urban Growth Agenda

Hyderabad: The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry convened a high level Telangana Real Estate Summit in Hyderabad to shape the next phase of urban and real estate growth in the state. The event, titled “Telangana Real Estate: Creating Value Beyond the Square Foot”, took place at The Marvel, T Hub, and brought together senior voices from real estate, infrastructure, policy, and investment.

The FTCCI Real Estate Summit focused on value creation beyond traditional measures. It stressed sustainability, infrastructure led growth, alternate asset classes, youth aspirations, and long term urban resilience aligned with Hyderabad 2034. At a time when Hyderabad is rapidly emerging as a global urban and economic hub, the summit aimed to set a clear agenda for future ready development.

Welcoming the gathering, Mr KK Maheshwari, Senior Vice President, FTCCI, said Telangana’s real estate sector has moved far beyond bricks and mortar. “Today, real estate is about building ecosystems, enabling livelihoods, enhancing quality of life, and shaping sustainable urban futures. This summit is about reimagining growth beyond square feet and focusing on real value creation,” he said.

Meanwhile, the summit hosted a series of panel discussions that examined key challenges and opportunities facing the sector. The conversations explored demand patterns across housing segments, the influence of policy and infrastructure on real estate viability, the growing role of alternate assets, and the need to align development with sustainability, inclusivity, and youth driven aspirations. These discussions reinforced Hyderabad’s position as one of India’s most dynamic and future focused real estate markets.

The FTCCI Real Estate Summit also highlighted the importance of collaboration. NAREDCO Telangana supported the event as Supporting Partner, JLL India joined as Knowledge Partner, Nikhila Constructions and Developers served as Title Partner, and HMDA Truck Dock Logistics Pvt Ltd participated as Associate Partner. Their involvement helped shape the depth and impact of the summit.

Later, speakers underlined the need for integrated urban planning and long term capital thinking. They also stressed stronger cooperation between government and industry to ensure sustainable growth and economic resilience. Mr Srinivas Garimella, Vice President, FTCCI, acknowledged the efforts of the FTCCI Infrastructure, Real Estate and Smart Cities Committee. The summit concluded with a clear call for continued stakeholder engagement, reaffirming FTCCI’s role in policy dialogue and industry led growth in Telangana.
