Waqf Board Reviews UMEED Central Portal Work, Sets Deadline
Hyderabad, Feb. 17 (Maxim News): The Telangana Waqf Board reviewed progress on the UMEED Central Portal and set a ten day deadline to clear pending entries.
Chairman Syed Azmatullah Husseni and CEO Mohammed Asadullah led the meeting on February 16. They met officers, superintendents and inspector auditors at the board office in Nampally.

Officials reviewed verification and approval of remaining Waqf institutions on the UMEED Central Portal. Moreover, they instructed officers to exercise caution while entering Gazette notifications on large Waqf lands.
The chairman directed teams to complete pending Gazette entries within ten days. He also asked them to begin Kitab ul Auqaf and second survey Waqf property entries immediately after completion.
Furthermore, he identified possible challenges and fixed a final timeline. He ordered officers to work on priority and avoid delay.
In addition, the IT section incharge will resolve technical issues. The team will coordinate with the UMEED Central Portal helpline.
The chairman stressed that the UMEED Central Portal ensures transparency and protects Waqf properties. He said proper implementation will improve management across the state. (Maxim News)
