Hyderabad: Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has levelled serious allegations against Congress leader and MP Rahul Gandhi. He alleged that Rahul Gandhi has links with anti India forces and described him as a threat to national security. Rijiju made these remarks during an interview with a national media organization.
Rijiju alleges links with anti India forces
Kiren Rijiju claimed that Rahul Gandhi meets separatists, Maoists and prominent American investor George Soros during his foreign trips. He alleged that these meetings raise concerns about national security. Therefore, Rijiju said Rahul Gandhi is very dangerous to national security by joining hands with anti national forces.
Meanwhile, Rijiju also reacted strongly to reports of opposition parties preparing a no confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. He expressed anger at the opposition. He said Congress leaders, especially Rahul Gandhi, disrupt discussions in Parliament with their comments.
Parliament disruptions and resolution in Lok Sabha
Rijiju criticized Rahul Gandhi’s conduct in the House. He said he has never seen an opposition leader like him in the history of the country. He further alleged that Rahul resorts to childish actions such as throwing papers and walking out while raising slogans to prevent Parliament from functioning.
He added that Rahul Gandhi’s disruption of the House has deprived members who want to speak about public issues of an opportunity. Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi recently accused the Lok Sabha of bowing to the US government and compromising national interests. However, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey criticized Rahul for misleading the country with his comments.
On February 12, a resolution was introduced in the Lok Sabha against Rahul Gandhi. The demand sought revocation of his parliamentary membership and a lifetime ban from contesting elections. In this context, Kiren Rijiju’s latest remarks have intensified the political debate.
The allegations by Rijiju and the response from opposition leaders have added to the growing confrontation between the ruling party and the Congress. Meanwhile, the issue continues to draw attention at the national level.
